Pre-Handover Checks Before The Big Day!

Handover Day Is Obviously The Most Exciting Day…But First A Few Essential Checks!

Here at Patrington Haven Leisure Park we aim to provide outstanding customer service and satisfaction in every way.

Holiday home ownership is very exciting especially the wait for your keys to your new caravan…Before this we like to ensure everything for your handover day runs smoothly and you can move in without a worry. We do all the important safety checks and thorough cleaning beforehand, leaving you to get the keys, make a cuppa and put your feet up! After all, isn’t that what holidaying is all about?

We followed our sales manager on a pre-handover quality and safety check, so you have an insight on how we do things here. Check out our short video that breaks everything down into a quick summary.

The customers in this video gave us a 10/10 for feedback on our service and how well we have taken care of them during their experience with us to date. We value this feedback and hope every customer feels the same!

Here is the breakdown of what the full pre-handover check looks like.

External checks include;

  • Outside Light
  • Veranda
  • Electric box
  • Water stop taps
  • Externally cleaned

Once these checks are completed and signed off they are then demonstrated to the owner that they are working and completed.

All our pre-handover checks are taken with care and thoroughly done to the highest standards. We leave no stone unturned!

Internal checks include;

  • Interior clean and tidy (carpets, upholstery, oven, cupboards, bathrooms etc)
  • Fire extinguisher
  • TV aerial
  • Window (clean and free of stickers and marks)
  • Smoke alarm, CO alarm and batteries
  • Oven and grill
  • Refrigerator
  • Water
  • Bed conversion
  • Water heater/boiler
  • Central heating/heaters
  • Lights
  • Electric trip switch
