National Fish And Chip Day

Date: June 1, 2018

A typically British post…about fish and chips!

Here in East Yorkshire, we all love a fish and chip tea on a Friday, right?

Well Friday the 1st June 2018 welcomes National Fish & Chip Day and we wanted to share it with you, just in case you weren’t aware of this (very important) event day.

The day is great for celebrating anyone and everyone involved in creating a national dish more of a national treasure. What a great way to highlight local pubs, restaurants and retailers as well as the many farmers and fishermen, who without them, where would the dish be? It is also a great excuse to give yourself a treat on a Friday…

Here at Patrington Haven we serve a hearty fish and chips at Guy’s Café Bar and Restaurant and if this blog post is making you a little bit hungry, you can book a table for this evening at the restaurant here.

We’re also proud to support local businesses in Patrington and there is a great chippy in the village only 5 minutes away called Newtons. We would recommend!

If reading this has tickled your taste buds and you are now craving fish and chips, as we are sure many of you are, you can get your hands on a delicious plate here at Patrington Haven, simply book here.

Have a fantastic fish and chip Friday!
