Pemberton Caravans started manufacturing holiday caravans in the Pemberton district of Wigan in the north-west of England in the late 1940's. From the earliest days Pembertons were built to last and many 30-40 year old examples are still giving sterling service today.

Pemberton moved to their present day factory site at Woodhouse Lane in the Springfield district of Wigan in 1955. Major expansion took place in the 1970's and in 1980 the manufacturing operations were transferred to Pemberton Leisure Homes Limited.

The Pemberton name has always been at the forefront of advances in the design and development of the caravan holiday home concept. In the mid 1980's the company was one of the first to introduce 12ft wide models and to develop models specifically designed for wheelchair users and those with special needs, a sector in which the Pemberton Sovereign model remains the acknowledged benchmark. Pemberton were also among the first to offer a full range of models suited to extended seasonal use with the benefits of increased insulation, double glazing and central heating. In the 1990's Pemberton extended the boundaries of caravan holiday home design still further with innovative ideas represented in our latest models the Monterey and Park Lane/ Knightsbridge ranges respectively.

With no less than 19 models on offer Pemberton realise that it is not always possible for prospective owners to view every model at their nearest stockist and we therefore maintain a permanent display at our Wigan factory and have established additional regional showground displays which are detailed in this site.

Pemberton Elite

The Elite has been completely re-styled to enhance all the high quality features for which it is renowned. The spacious lounge has extensive seating incorporating a pull out sofabed and the U-shaped kitchen boasts plenty of work surfaces and cupboard space. The dining table and chairs are not fixed and therefore can be moved around to accommodate more guests.

There are two entrances into the Elite which gives this model an advantage in terms of layout and there is a door between the kitchen and the corridor to keep warmth in and noise out.

Pemberton Rivendale

The Rivendale from Pemberton represents a new standard in twin units. This revolutionary award winning design maximises the living space and even provides a separate snug room that can be used as an additional bedroom or office. The asymmetric layout gives the exterior a distinctive appearance which, in turn, gives the interior a discernible functionality.

The living area is wide and open with floor to ceiling windows and optimised ceiling heights that allow light to pour in and give the whole home an essence of space.
